Update Apple DEP Token

DEP token must be renewed once a year. Update work can be done at any time.

 

Please note that when DEP token expires, the following effects will occur:

• Automatic device configuration (DEP feature) will no longer be available.

• You will not be able to register or re-register your DEP devices.

 

If your DEP token has expired, follow these steps to renew it.

 

1. [[SETTING]] > [[Unit Detail]] > [[Apple]] tab and click [[Apple DEP Token]]

 

2. Click [[Step 1: Download Certificate]] to download the certificate file you need to download the token.

 

3. Open a tab separate from the MDM web console and go to the [Apple Business Manager https://business.apple.com/] site.

Sign in with your registered account.

 

4. In Apple Business Manager, click [[Settings]], select the MDM server on which you want to update the DEP token from [[MDM Servers]] and click [[Edit]] button.

 

5. Upload Public Key in MDM Server Settings to upload the Certificate file (downloaded in step 1).

 

6. Click [[Download Token]] to download the newly generated Apple DEP token.

 

7. Go back to the MDM web console and upload the server token you downloaded.

 

8. Successful registration will renew the expiration date of your Apple DEP token.
